John Moody
Creative Director
Design has been a part of John’s life for twenty-five years. Holding an Associates Degree in Commercial Art and Advertising from Texas State Technical College and Bachelor Degrees in both Communication Design and Interior Design from the University of North Texas, he honed his creative skills first as a production artist and illustrator in the graphic design industry, and now John is fulfilling his passion for interior design. While working as project manager for one of Waco’s top interior design firms, he gained extensive experience in space planning, architectural detailing, custom design plans for new construction, kitchen and bath remodeling, as well as compiling specifications for all furniture, fixtures, and equipment necessary to complete a project.
In 2017, John established Mood Creative Decor and Design, a full service residential interior design firm with a focus on creating distinctive environments that are as inviting and beautiful as they are comfortable and functional.

MAKE THE CONNECTION
First, we’ll get to know each other. We will meet in your space to talk about your vision, design style and the color schemes you prefer. This will allow us to gather insights that will better inform the design and functionality of your space.
CREATIVITY IN MOTION
After meeting, we will begin to identify the elements that will define and elevate your space. We simplify decisions by presenting thoughtful selections for your feedback and approval, in order to develop a comprehensive and well-considered design plan. The design that is presented will often include CAD drawings, textiles, fabric samples, furnishings, photos, paint and wall covering options, and flooring samples.
DESIGN PLAN IN ACTION
With the plan successfully completed, MOOD CREATIVE will then execute and manage all aspects of your project as your space is transformed into a beautiful, harmonious environment that is an inspiration and gives a passionate voice to the story of your life.
